About Me

I am an American artist and Buddhist practitioner living in Baltimore with my two dog-children :)  My mother named me after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to summit Mt. Everest.  If our name influences our destiny, then it may just be the reason I fell in love with photographing the world, far and wide…

In 2007, a transformative journey to Tibet fueled my passion for preserving Tibetan culture and advocating for the Tibetan freedom movement. My photography and design work have been used at NGOs and institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, Tibet House, The Tibet Fund, International Campaign for Tibet, Maryland Institute College of Art, and House of Ruth Maryland. I enjoy contributing my work as a graphic artist and fundraiser on the board of directors at Dharamsala Animal Rescue, where I educate others about the challenges faced by street dogs in India.
